LIFE INSTITUTE FOR ENDOSCOPY (a.k.a. LIFE)
LIFE offers training to individuals and institutions that desire to acquire the necessary skills to practice Minimal Access Surgery and build the institutional capacity to establish Laparoscopic Surgery Centre.
LIFE lays emphasis on the acquisition of minimal access surgical skills by Doctors: Gynaecologists, General Surgeons, Urologists and Medical Officers; as well as Nurses and Medical instrument technicians.
VISION: To provide quality training, excellent treatment, and development of Minimal Access Surgery in Nigeria and Africa.
MISION STATEMENT : To spread the awareness & practices of Minimal Access Surgery (MAS) all over the country, through training, treatment, support and equipment supplies.
TRAINING: Experience and studies have shown that mere observing of cases or assisting a MAS surgeon does not necessarily qualify one to be a MAS surgeon. Rather, MAS techniques
and skill acquisition requires "hands on " training using endo-trainers/ animals under guidance. This is what we do best. Hence we have packaged and are ready to deliver whenever called upon,
world class training in Minimal Access Surgery for individuals and institutions.
